Exclusive Interview: Certified Nutritionist Shares Secrets to Staying Healthy in College

Screen Shot 2017-05-01 at 11.28.46 AM.pngHello all! Freshman No Fifteen has begun the collaborative campaign with three other fantastic health and fitness blogs—RU Fit, Eat Sleep Fitness and My Turn With Curves to generate unique and exciting content for you. For those of you who don’t know, our campaign goal is to create awareness about the importance of health and fitness and offer help to busy college students who want to eat healthy and exercise. In line with our campaign goal, we are promoting  the NCPPA, the National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity, a leading organization empowering Americans to live more active lives.

As part of the campaign, I spoke with certified nutritionist Raphael Hoffman, who answered questions and shared advice about eating healthy in college. The Columbia university graduate revealed tips and advice for students to take on that will improve their diet and overall health. Hoffman works to fit the lifestyle of his clients. He understands students do not have much time, money or accessibility and offers tips that are convenient. The certified nutritionist shares the most important Do’s and Don’ts of healthy eating that will make a difference in all of our lives without impacting our grades, social life, bank account or sleep.

Tune into the podcast below to hear helpful and inspirational tips from an expert that all of us can take on!

That is all for now from certified nutritionist Raphael Hoffman. As always, I hope all of you all find this to be useful in your lives. I personally will try to take on a few of these that I struggle with, specifically drinking water!

Remember to check out the NCPPA website and the blogs of my partners Taylor Hills, author of My Turn With Curves, Austin Leibowitz, author of RU Fit, and Amanda Elkhatib, author of Eat Sleep Fitness, for more information about health and fitness. You can also look for me on RU Fit, where I will be featured as a guest!

Please don’t hesitate to comment or email me with questions or requests and stay tuned for more surprise guests on Freshman No Fifteen! Thank you for tuning in and see you next time.
