All-nighters, parties, long lectures, roommates—college is about adjusting to a new life and balancing many responsibilities at once. But while doing so, it is easy for students to forget the importance of their health. With new independence and freedom, comes the responsibility of taking care of the body and mind.
Whether it is internships, exams or the anxieties that come from entering the real world, students are consumed with responsibilities. That is why in college, it is extra important to prioritize health and fitness by eating healthy and exercising regularly. Health is the backbone for success in all areas. As we are setting the script for the rest of our lives–lets make it something we are proud of!
Freshman-no-fifteen is a blog made by a college student for college students who value their health and well-being. My goal is to show how staying healthy can be fun and easy!
I will share advice, reliable information and recourses that will provide support and help during our health journeys. I will always share tips that are practical and convenient, not time consuming or expensive.
More so, I want to share my passion for exercise and love for healthy food with like-minded people. I want to create a community where we can inspire each other.
I know the struggle of being busy and stressed out but I have learned that you will never regret the decision to eat healthy or workout. Making small adjustments to your busy lives, will increase your energy, focus and happiness. You may even find yourself looking forward to your next workout or salad.
